Didn't actually attempt any proper drawing. When we weren't out, I was mainly just collapsed watching dreary rolling news TV (Nothing else in English...) in the hotel cell, and coughing/blowing my sore nose.
I went to TK Maxx today and scored two pairs of winter Crocs being cleared out...£45 reduced to £15. Result!
This lurgy is making me sooo weary, though. Just the constant nose-blowing and hawking is strenuous enough. Blah. Fell asleep last night watching tabloid TV about Raoul Moat on the rampage, after already sleeping most of the day.

As usual, I did try to put this drek behind a cut. Sorry, it never seems to work for me.

A bit worrying about the bite, with such a grim hotel it might be bed bugs? Wash everything you can and freeze anything else if possible. Photograph the bite. If you do get an infestation, you could get the tour company to pay for the clear out for sending you to a dodgey hotel.

Well, it's a lot better now. The hotel wasn't dirty, just dreary. I tend to react strongly to mosquito bites. When I got really devoured in Ghent, it looked like I had the plague for about two weeks.

The grimness or otherwise of the hotel is no protection in any case - you're just as likely to get them in a luxury hotel. And I believe the bites travel in packs.

No, this is definitely a mosquito bite. I believe bedbugs ARE making a big comeback, though. Yuck.
