Got the exercising done early this morning, which is good, as it's getting strange out there. Gloomy, with quite strong  cat-scaring winds.
A resident 'bad dog' came roaring out of the lift, sans lead/muzzle, and attacked R and her hunden  last night. (Thank Christ I 'missed' it-)  No real damage done, but R was extra-fragile, anyway, and didn't need it. Those people are disgusting, and shouldn't be allowed to keep animals. Complaints are made, but nothing gets done.
Saw an ultra fascinating documentary on the history of the (still-creepy) Caledonian Road, the other night.(SECRET HISTORY OF OUR STREETS, BBC2)  This old boy named Roy (someone should get a book out of him, before it's too late-)  who grew up there, had some jaw-dropping tales to tell. I didn't even know that it was a cattle market /slaughter area there, in living memory. Roy remembered that 'dirty old men' took unseemly interest in the calves (!)  and that he'd witnessed the particularly strange,'orrible suicide of a colleague while working as a 'cutter' in his youth. Jeez...
