I've tried for the third (or is it fourth?) time to sit through a filmed production O'Neill's THE ICEMAN COMETH only to fall fast asleep. I've never tried it in the theatre, but I doubt if it would be any better, and you'd have to keep your shoes on.
No window fixing 'contractor' action, of course. It really is pathetic.
I've not read THE NIGHT WATCH, but the TV adaptation last night, while interesting, gave the impression that it barely skimmed the surface. It's odd that they didn't make it a miniseries.
I think I need dinner, now.
