I'ee just watched that '24 Hours in the ER' programme on 4. This one concentrated on all the gang fight victims being hauled in, with their pals trying to carry on cutting each other up in the waiting room, etc. God, those casualty staffers are true heroes. It makes me furious to think how ill-paid and lacking in status they are. Some of them are real star material, too. The head nurse totally needs to have her own show.
Saw a curious 60's Polish film, MOTHER JOAN OF THE ANGELS, based on the Loudon possession case that inspired Huxley and Ken Russell. It was quite impressive; very intense, especially the desperate priest's visit to the rabbi.
