Sparrows

Thin _White_ Duke remembers feeding the stroppy London sparrers at St. Paul's, Covent Garden. I used to do that, going so far as to old-ladyishly try and keep bullying pigeons (Hate them! Hate their 'orrible raw mince-like feet!)at bay, while the little guys had a feed. For the last several years, though, there have been NO SPARROWS AT ALL at St. Paul's, or indeed anywhere else, that I've noticed. I should be used to this by now, but still find it rather scary.
