Honours List...

While  reading the online paper earlier, I noticed approvingly, but with some surprise, that comics goddess Claire Bretecher was now a dame.
'But she's not a UK citizen, is she?' I mused dimly, before noticing that the decorated lady was actually LIVE AID inspiration Claire Bertschinger. Duh.
Three cheers for Cap'n Picard, who has been on TV a lot, recently; a very good Claudius, an interesting Ahab, etc.
