dorkyI saw an extremely weird film, MARTYRS. It's been dismissed by some as torture porn, and the gruesomeness really is pretty intense, but I found it seriously deep and disturbing. The director/writer, Pascal Laugier, was, of course, raised a Catholic... We just can't help ourselves.

My mega-cold is still bloody hanging around, although much better, thank Christ. I've also been relieved to finally hear that my sister's cataract op seems to have been a success, and her vision is already much improved, for now, anyway.Whew-
