I had to go for my flu jab today. The nurse also took my BP('very good!'), some blood for thyroxine levels, and then asked, as they always do, if I wanted to be weighed. I was going to say no, but thought WTF, might as well make her happy. It seems I've lost over six kilos in the last couple of months. Maybe it's just a difference in scales. I've not had much appetite, and have actually been making an effort to eat. I've also been indulging my lust for Chinese takeaways and pizza a great deal, as A)I don't fancy anything else, and B)I've figured I might as well, since the bypass will probably prevent me from ever properly enjoying good ol'junk food. I was quite chuffed, but it's weird, when I generally try to be 'good' but either stay the same or bloody gain, to be chowing down on the ol' spicy king prawn glop and heavily seasoned tofu, and actually lose.
