Crumble And Creak...

I actually dragged my dismal depressive ass  'all the way' to Euston to see the Sleeping and Dreaming exhibit at the Wellcome Collection. It was too crowded for me, of course, which made it difficult to listen to the sound byte setups, and it was, of course, concentrating more on the science side of things than the arty and spooky stuff. Still, I found it very interesting, and I discovered the work of Jane Gifford, which I really like. She seems to share my inclination for  dreams of humiliation in theatrical settings, and strange toilet experiences.

Traffic was shocking, and I stood on the Charing Cross Road for half an hour, at one point.  If I could have walked to the Strand, I certainly would have, as I used to do in days gone by. Charing Cross Road is actually quite horrible generally these days.
At Vauxhall, I happened to look up at those newish rich-peoples' flats, and on an upper balcony stood four people in bright yellow police (I assumed-) jackets, seemingly studying the traffic below. What was that in aid of?
I got a new rental video, three more episodes of DEADWOOD. Yay!
