Also, reminds me that we never ever ate rice when I was a kid,except on the mercifully rare occasions when my mother produced the dreaded egg 'curry'.We almost never had pasta, either, unless it was 'Chef Boyardee' tinned spaghetti and meatballs. This seems odd, but I guess most people's diets were incredibly dull in those days.
