(These days, he concentrates mostly on writing.)
I have almost no idea what he's singing about, but there seems to be a lot of nostalgia, melancholy and all that going on, which naturally appeals to me!
Sasa was kind enough to send me a little CD, which I listen to all the time. Looking at it with my glasses on, I see that the song I've been particularly into recently, and listed on the meme, is actually called OKEAN (yup, OCEAN-). LA STRADA was one of the groups Tisma has worked with, but I thought it was also the title of the song. Duh...
BTW, Sasa/Zograf has done at least one splendid strip I know of using Tisma's lyrics. It's called METROPOLIS, and is available in English in the old Slab-O-Concrete DREAM WATCHER collection, if anyone has access to it....
Phantoms and shadows are moving around the town.
Dreams and days all floating over the cities....
The sense of fear is giving me a new life.
It speaks about a life which is new.
I'm becoming a savage living in Metropolis.
I'm becoming a sorcerer and a clown.
There's a flower blooming down in a metro station
Under the black sun of melancholy.
