Squareyed Stuff...

Caught up with THE JINX, a very interesting study of this hugely rich man, who, possibly twisted by a traumatic childhood, may well have murdered his first wife, his longtime best friend, and a neighbour he befriended while on the run, living in a seedy flat, disguised as a mute woman. I think the case is still up in the air, but it's all soo strange. Great stuff.
Actually, these true crime things are a bit of a guilty pleasure, as  they involve real people dying 'orrible, but, of course, I can't help myself. I often watch WORLD'S MOST EVIL KILLERS, and, at present, I'm obsessed with THE ASSASSINATION OF GIANNI VERSACE.
TROY: FALL OF A CITY continues lame as can be, I just have it on in the background,  it's too boring to watch properly.
VALLEY OF LOVE is a peculiar but absorbing tale about a long-divorced couple whose grown son has killed himself, and sent each a letter, telling them to go to sweltering Death Valley together, visiting various sites, and he'd appear to them. I don't know WTF was going on, really. It had a bit of a David Lynch quality, though, and I liked it. The seekers were played by Gerard Depardieu and Isabelle Hupert, who were very good, of course. Mr Depardieu's belly is now an official Force of Nature, BTW. Fascinating.

FRANKENSTEIN (2015) was rather sickening. (The Creature's deteriorating face and form were pretty disturbing; excellent makeup work.) Otherwise, it didn't have much going for it, a pointless  updated version of the  basic story.
