Pat Me On The Back...

Pissed around a bit in the West End. Big photos of Moscow set my travel button vibrating.

Shuffled over to the City Lit to pick up some brochures. (The new Keeley St building opens in May.) Then I went to Clapham High St, and gawped at charity shops etc, until it was time to creep to the (shudder) leisure centre. (Scored a copy of The Idler's Book of Crap Jobs for a pound.

Sketched punters in Cafe Nero. One was very handsome.

At the leisure centre, I was made as comfortable as possible by an absurdly cheerful hardbod called Dave. Had to fill in forms all about my ailments, etc. and made an appointment with him for my first gym instruction on Sunday next. God help me. I'm also going to TRY and drag my humungous buttt down there for one of the aqua sessions this week. Oh the fear...

Still no SKY (sob...)

Cattle Raid Of Cooley Goodness!

Take the quiz: <a href="http://www.zenhex.com/quiz.php?id=7176">"What Historic Woman Are You?"<br><img src="http://www.zenhex.com/quiz/7176/res5.jpg" border="0"></a><br><b>Queen Medb</b><br>Queen Medb was an Irish queen, and what a queen! She ruled HER WAY or the HIGHWAY. When arguing with her husband over who had the greater fortune, she got so mad that she called a war on a neighboring kingdom to capture a bull so that she'd be wealthier than her husband. She was impulsive, temperamental, and passionate, just like you. But try and be a little calmer. Read more about this fascinating woman: http://www.angelfire.com/de/arkhamhaus/medb.html

Found this one through  bugbomb , who got to be Queen Hatshepsut, which is even cooler!
