Poor Old Myra...

Not that her deeds weren't completely foul and reprehensible, and all that, but what is it that supposedly made Myra Hindley sooo much worse than all other 'orrible murderers? It would also seem that her repentance over the years was 'sincere', for what it's worth, and all that tabloid AT LAST SHE BURNS IN HELL kack, as usual, gives me the hump. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord...(Ohhh, I sound like Dot Cotton!) An' furthermore- How many have the tabloids actually hounded to death, one way or another over the years? Mumble....Gawd 'ave mercy on 'er wicked soul, anyhow.
Finally caught up with AI NO CORIDA last night; one of those 'great' films I'd never got around to seeing. Rum stuff. This couple got together and just couldn't stop fucking. They got into erotic asphyxiation and the woman killed the guy (Ooops!). She then cut off his bits ( a major moment of cinematic Ewww, needless to say...)and wandered around Tokyo for several days in an ecstatic state. A voiceover at the end said that this was a true case from the 30's, and that she was leniently dealt with due to her being nuts, and later became something of a celebrity! Put me in mind of another loopy Japanese sex killer, the cannibal guy, who is now out, and a bit of a cult writer and speaker. All very inscrutable...
I actually, with a lot of help from the instructor, got one of the three Photoshop 'projects' done yesterday.A mess, but done. and it 'only' took an hour and a half to get home from the Aldwych...same deal, though, 45 minutes wait for a bus, and then it doesn't go the full route. Sigh...

    The Doors: PEOPLE ARE STRANGE
moi

Guh! "Emotional Intelligenge" 55%-Below Average...

Your score indicates that you have a below average EQ.
People that typically score in this range sometimes have trouble recognising and understanding their feelings. They are not always able to express their feelings in the most appropriate manner. They often have doubts and concerns about who they really are. They do not have much confidence in themselves and in their abilities. In most circumstances, they have a difficult time showing love, empathy and compassion for other people. In general, they are not comfortable with intimacy.

They also have trouble communicating with other people. They struggle with getting in tune with themselves and those around them. They may sometimes say the wrong thing at the wrong moment. They sometimes find it hard to show their anger or deal with anger directed at them. At times they are unable to stand up for themselves when hurt or they are handle confrontation inappropriately. They may have trouble admitting when they are wrong; and when they do make mistakes, they are often uncomfortable apologising to those they hurt.

People with below average EQ may also have low levels of self-worth. They do not like challenges or commitment and are afraid of change. They have a difficult time staying motivated and focused when they have set unattainable goals for themselves. They are fairly pessimistic about themselves and their future...

There's much more depressing stuff, all sounding true enough. Thank you AOL. I'm really shivering, so I've surrendered and put the bloody heat on. I'm listening to THE IDIOT on R4, and it's too miserable to go to the South Bank for the Small Press Fair. Should've gorn Friday...
