Hail Bast!

Well, Wotan  does have a bit of a leaky valve, and slightly  enlarged heart, but no sign of actual disease, yet. He may start taking small doses of children's aspirin; have to sort that out with my own vet. Blood tests aren't back yet, but touch wood, they should be OK.  In mitigation of my lunacy, I must add  that heart disease in cats usually isn't symptomatic until it's Too Late; therefore, it seemed 'sensible' to go for the full testing experience, to have a better idea of what actually was going on in his  hairy little bod.

Oh Jeez, ' I breathe again!'...Many thanks to those of you who sent positive thoughts. I'm sure they helped.  Now, please let the insurance cough up for  most of it, or grant me a windfall of some sort...

I'm being haunted by the cockroach songs from the  repellent JOE'S APARTMENT, especially FUNKY TOWEL. Can't say I liked the film much, though. The roaches (urrrgh-) ar a bit too  convincing, as is the foetid ambiance of the squalid flat. Most irritating was the fact that the squeaky roach voices' dialogue was  very difficult to understand, and it's not the sort of flick you'd be inclined to really concentrate on...
