Fab! What fun...I schlepped the 'Sholley' full of books to Notting Hill Book & Comic Exchange for my annual trade-in extravaganza . I got £44 worth of vouchers, spent £31, and so it goes. The bus goes along Oxford Street, which I usually avoid if I can, but one must check out the Christmas decorations. The lights are lame as ever. It looks like some grim Iron Curtain 'festive' set-up, and the shop windows are really crap, too. Bah, etc. I'm sure it's not just me being Scroogey, although, of course, I am, but they are truly piss-poor. Oddly, all the decorations and cards seem to be on sale already. I don't recall seeing that before. Maybe nobody else can be arsed, either. Commercialism has finally destroyed the last vestiges of 'Christmas spirit', etc. etc. Fap! On Lavender Hill, a Christmas tree blew over right in front of a startled pedestrian, barely missing him. Arf!
Watched HULK last night and quite enjoyed it; stupid but fun. I love it when he runs and jumps. ( 'THOOM! ')
