Eyes OK!...

Praise be, the drops seem to have dealt with the post-op buidlup  of liquid behind my eye, and I'm now freed from attending the cataract clinic. Heh!
Now, of course, I'll have to get the new specs I needed several years before the op. They said at the time that I could probably get by with my old ones until  the cataracts were removed, so I did. Huge expense and faffing, of course, but I don't need to bother just now. It can wait another month or so.
Lots of media chat about mental health during the pandemic. I'm lucky, in that I'm used to not being very social, and generally quyite pleased with it...Still, I've been feeling very stir-crazy, and, if, like so many people, I had to be banged up in a dinky place like this, with understandably fractious captive  kids, and/or  a  partner I might no longer be that besotted with, as well...Jesus, my head would explode! How DO people manage?
I wonder if we're really going to get  some actual snow? It still felt rather mild today. It would be just my luck, of course. I've been wishing for real winter weather, but I'd rather not have it this week, with two more hospital schleps to negotiate via double bus journeys, one to fecking Lodon Bridge. Bah.
