I do feel for those poor devils stuck in Dover, with no water, toilets, food...Horrific. Imagine being with screaming kids in a car! Most of them are lorry drivers, though, who have been there over 24 hours, and may be there 24 hours more. They all have to get Covid-tested now, before they can even start to escape.
There was rather a lot of traffic around here. I didn't venture out, except to exercise in the muggy murk. I actually encountered that guy who has the virus! He says he has to come out to walk the dog. He's had it for two weeks, and still feels rough. He was masked, at least. I kept well away.
I ran into R Next Door again, and she couldn't get away from 'so dangerous' me quickly enough. She's really not keen on my touching the dawgs, either.
I started cleaning out a drawer, and even that's too much for me! I'll finish it tomorrow...
There is absolutely nada on telly. Thank the gods for streaming. I'm watching some more of THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT.
