Well, at least I don't have to spend ages throwing buckets of water down the toilet, any more, which is nice after almost three weeks of it. It was quickly fixed, when the right plumber was finally sent by Lambeth's bizarre contractors, and much agro was endured by me.
Still in the process of re-watching about 500 episodes of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, which is good, as there's been bugger all on ordinary TV. I'm also still watching BRAVE NEW WORLD, and THE THIRD DAY (I've started, so I'll finish...) There are quite a few things I want to check out, like THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT, which seems to be a big hit, and Saturday night's new Icelandic Noir, THE VALHALLA MURDERS... DNA finished its run; better than MONTALBANO, but extremely drawn-out and convoluted. I did like the dodgy nuns, of course! HARLOTS continues to hold my interest, but ROAD KILL kinda lost me halfway through, although I saw it out. HIS DARK MATERIALS is still looking gorgeous, but I sometimes think it might be too intellectually demanding for me! I do wish I had a daemon, though.
