Well, if it has to be summer, this is my idea of a nice day; not too hot or humid, some cloud cover, nice breeze. It was still a dreadful struggle to crawl out of my pit. I really don't know, sometimes, how I manage to do things like get dressed, exercise, and shower. Usually I do, though. Why is another question.
Down in the park, I had another one of those weird encounters with complete unknowns. This woman with a Rottweiler (Sometimes I recognise the dawg, if not the human, but no.) beamed. 'You're so slim!' (Well, relatively-) 'It's nice to see you looking so well'. Well meant, I'm sure, but it always seems peculiar, somehow.
Still watching THE LAST WAVE, which is just about mildly interesting. There are about 100 characters, though, and every one a dullard.
Got a weird note through the letterbox this morning. It was politely worded, really, but was unsigned, and complained about 'constant intermittent' noise including heavy drilling, causing 'discomfort' downstairs. WTF, I don't even have a drill. Very odd.
Currently watching a documentary about hard nut boxer Sonny Liston, who died in strange circumstnces, PARIAH, and saw some of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, which was entertaining enough.
It's starting to heat up again, and looks like being very uncomfortable again by the weekend. Meh.
