Saw this really intereting Neil Jordan vampire film, BYZANTIUM. that I'd never heard of before; very elegant to look at, and the story was quite absorbing.

THE ARCHERS revealed the verdict of Helen's trial. I don't think I'm spoiling anything, here, as it's been all over the news,...She's free, yay...It's pretty certain that the Terrible Titcheners will continue doing their best to make her life hell, though.
I must admit I found the hour-long episode a bit dull, though. The squabbling jurors were all unconvincing stereotypes, and spouting cliches. It sounded like they were reading a script, which, of course, they were.
I've got to go to hospital for yet another poke at my horrid varicose veins tomorrow, an uncomfortable business at the best of times, and it's supposed to be 30C or worse. Feck.
Nice, creepy RIPPER STREET tonight.
