Weird...I've been feeling seedy since I got home yesterday. (The usual post-Anything malaise.) During a desultory attempt at a workout this morning. I was hit by a wave of nausea and barfed in the park! Luckily nobody else was there, I'd I'd only had a coffee. Yuck.I'm going to be slumped in the chair most of the day catching up with TV I missed while in Venice, anyhow. BTW, The only English TV stations there were BBC News and CNN. I never look at it at home, and it's so weird. The announcers are always screaming, especially that 'Quest' person.
They ran the entire Republican 'debate', which was also a gem of strangeness. Absolutely all the candidates for the party leadership appeared to some degree mad, with Trump only the most flamboyant of the gang of Bedlamites. Boy, Hillary may be a hypocrite, and crooked (Well, she's a politician-), but better pray she wins the election.
My trip to Venice was truly fantabulosa. I'd always wanted to see it, and it didn't disappoint. When I went to Istanbul, I found it very interesting, and had a fine time, but somehow it didn't, on the whole, have that magical, mystical quality I'd anticipated. Venice has it in spades, though. Whoo, what a place!
Easy Jet check-in is really very easy, even for me.but arriving at Marco Polo was difficult. It was already nearly dark, and it's a long walk to the dock. Kept getting lost. On the water, it was pitch black, with very little light inside, and it seemed to take hours to get to San Marco. I had absolutely no idea how to find the hotel, so had to fork out 20 euros for a porter to walk me there. (Took about five minutes-)

Will continue with sketchbook stuff during the week...
