An Artist Date...

...With Mr Goya. This little exhibit of sketchbook drawings was very interesting, with a lot of stuff I'd never seen. Unfortunately, as usual there were too many people, some of whom just stood there yakking inanely  for ages in front of the pictures, blocking everyone else's view. I'd hoped the gallery would be empty. Galleries are never empty these days. Well, I guess that's good in a way.

I also had a stroll round the Maggi Hambling show, which was thankfully, less busy. I have to say I'm not a big fan of her sculpture, on the whole, but I liked the installations and paintings.

I'm in a weird sort of self-indulgent frenzy at the moment, spending money that doesn't really exist on travel, new clothes, books...also eating way too much to lose more deathfat. Bah.
There's sweet FA on telly this weekend; may be time to catch up with HOUSE OF CARDS, etc. on Netflix.
